CINCINNATI (FOX19) – The Kroger Co. is joining the growing listing of stores attempting to sell CBD products.
The Cincinnati-based food store chain will start attempting to sell topical items like creams, balms, natural oils and ointments in 17 states, The Detroit News reports.
Kentucky and Indiana are detailed one of the 17 states where Kroger will sell it is new CBD products, Kroger’s Louisville Division Corporate Affairs Manager and Media Spokesperson Erin Grant confirmed.
“Like many stores, our company is providing our customers a highly-curated choice of topical items like lotions, balms, natural oils and creams being infused with hemp-derived CBD,” Erin Rolfes with Kroger’s Cincinnati unit stated. „CBD is just a naturally-occurring and compound that is non-intoxicating has promising advantages and it is allowed within federal and state laws. Our restricted variety of hemp-derived CBD topical services and products is from companies which have been evaluated for quality and security. „
